Methodology

When teaching Vinyasa yoga, my classes are based on a continuing flow where we move from pose to pose without stopping. In my lessons I include guided meditation to calm the mind, breathing exercises, relaxation, stretching and body strengthening via the practice of diverse asanas (postures). My classes are dynamic and based on a principal goal that changes in each class, for example on strengthening the back. For my long term students, we work together to achieve a central goal.

When teaching Yin Yoga, my classes are based on a specific topic, which can be a specific group of asanas such as hip openers, or an intention set from the start and leading the class. Yin yoga is a more relaxing type of yoga where we stay in the asanas for 3 to 5 minutes allowing the body to stretch deeply.

I organise my lessons in advance and adapt them during the class depending on the student’s level and his/her wants, allowing myself to be flexible. I make sure that the student progresses at their own pace while teaching diverse asanas.

My classes are taught either in French or English, with the name of the asanas told in French, English or Sanskrit.

I also offer online classes.
